Over 370 participants from 8 districts of Tripura state attended this.

8 to 10 Jan 2020	Mr. Suri, Mr.S.Ram Mohan & Tom K.Jose met Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria, Mr.G.V.V. Sarma IAS, Member Secretary NDMA, Ms.Sonia Gandhi VU2SON, Wireless Advisor and other officials of WPC and presented the book “All About Amateur Radio”. The Chief of Air Staff presented Indian Air Force memento to NIAR delegation.
10-17 Jan 2020	Upon request from Govt. of West Bengal, Amateur Radio communications was being provided at Ganga Sagar Mela 2020 at Ganga Sagar Island by members of West Bengal Radio Club. It is supported by NIAR and IIH, Bengaluru. Lakhs of pilgrims assemble here to take the holy dip.The special callsign 8T2G has been issued by WPC Wing. NIAR Supported the event by lending equipment and is also the QSL Manager.

11-12 Sep 2015	Technolites – 2k15 was organised at Vardhaman College of Engineering on 11th & 12th Sep 2015. In this event Fox-Hunt (Amateur Radio Direction Finding) was held with the demo and training from National Institute of Amateur Radio Hyderabad on 09.09.2015. Direction finding Transmitter & 4 receivers were provided by NIAR on returnable basis.

29 Sep 2013	NIAR with Dhruva Space and with the support of Indian Inst. of Astrophysics Bangalore (IIA) are gearing up for India's first small satellite. IIA with its high altitude balloon facility is all set to study the comet ISON. High altitude rubber balloons filled with Helium were launched and later retrieved from the coordinates received by ham radio. This event was coordinated by Mr.S.Ram Mohan (Director NIAR), Mr.Sanjay Nekkanti and Mr.Narayan Prasad.

There were 25 participants with varied backgrounds but with a common interest in Small Satellite Technology.
